Improving energy efficiency in its facilities is a topic of great interest for the Hospital of Ancona. As part of a wider and more detailed energy-saving program, high-efficency LED light fixtures from Cree have been selected for the lighting throughout three selected departments.
The project focused on: Oncology, Haematology and Laboratory Analysis, where obsolete fluorescent lamps were replaced with 48 Cree LE1TM and CR22TM LED architectural troffers featuring light and presence sensors.
Featuring Cree TrueWhite® Technology, the installed fixtures feature color temperatures of 4000K, allowing seamless integration with existing lighting. The modern design of the Cree LED fixtures helps the hospital of Ancona create a better environment for its patients and guests, delivering high quality lighting.
The installed system monitored energy savings of over 70 percent due to the increased efficiency of the lighting fixtures, and their ability to adjust light intensity and occupancy control.
